The WSA Vertical Storage System is a fully automated solution for handling corrugated WIP (work-in-progress) that significantly increases storage capacity and plant efficiency while minimizing floor space requirements. Stacks are block built in both the X and Y directions, optimizing cell usage and minimizing cycle times. This Point to Point systems eliminates the restrictions of a traditional FIFO material handling system which improves corrugator performance, scheduling flexibility, tracking accuracy and system capacity.

The system features a low-energy design with fewer motors, drives, and moving parts, offering a much lower cost of ownership compared to traditional WIP conveyor systems. With real-time tracking and visualization of each load’s location and movement, it ensures full automation and inventory control. Uniquely, the system supports both Primary WIP and Secondary WIP storage, making it ideal for plants that require reprocessing orders on other machines.
